Tooners shared that the floors makeover took 8 weeks to full and value around $350 for products including three $50 bags of cents from the financial institution, 10 bottles of Elmer’s glue, grout, timber filler, and epoxy. She started by sorting the coins into light dark that is versus. She measured the floor to find the center that is exact for the space and received two outlines through it to form an axis. She then started with one diamond of cents when you look at the center and carried on the design from there.

“[I] found a design we liked across the side after which began working towards a large part. Fortunately, there clearly was a space amongst the floor and molding so I could run the pennies under the molding to complete the edges. This was stupid hard though because the gap was only about [half an inch]. Had to use my trusty ruler to poke the pennies around under the gap,” Tooners wrote.

She alternated between placing pennies heads or tails side up and made sure they were all facing the direction that is same. When the structure had been full and also the flooring covered, Tooners utilized grout that is unsanded between the copper pieces. After that dried, she sealed the floor with a layer of epoxy.

Her attention to detail paid off. The results are stunning****)
